Foam Moulding — Shaped Components
Cycle pads, scrum caps and knee guards, moulded to your specification. If the mould doesn't exist yet, we'll help you get one made.

What we offer
Foam moulding takes flat foam or neoprene and gives it a permanent three-dimensional shape using heat and a shaped tool.
The reason to mould rather than cut is that a moulded part follows the contour it needs to sit against — a knee guard or scrum cap that's been moulded to body shape works; the same material cut flat doesn't. We mould as a contract service on your specification, with no standard moulds held — every job is developed to fit.
Applications
Cycle pads and chamois — contoured seat padding
Scrum caps — moulded protective headgear padding
Knee guards — moulded protective padding to knee profile
Protective inserts — impact padding in sportswear and workwear
Orthopaedic and medical pads — bracing, supports, contoured cushioning
Automotive components — shaped trim and padding parts

Material Behavior
Neoprene holds its moulded shape under repeated flex and compression — suited to sustained impact, like scrum caps and knee guards. PU and polyester foam mould finer detail at lower cost, better suited to cycle pads and lighter inserts. Material choice is matched to the part's load case at the tooling stage.
